The following is a general checklist that covers most loan types and some loans will not require all this information or will require alternative information. It is a good idea to have this all with you at your appointment.

1. 100 Point Identity Check    
  1. Drivers License issues under Australian Law (photo/Sig)
2. Passport, must be a current Australian Passport
3. Birth Certificate or Extract (Original or certified)
4. Medicare Card, current
5. Credit Cards (only one per institution)
6. Original Citizen Certificate
7. Tertiary education Institution Ident card (photo/Sig)
8. Public Service Employee ID Card (photo/Sig)
9. Utility rates or Statements, current (water, gas, electric, phone)

2. Proof of Employment    
  1. A current and up to date letter from your Employer stating
  • Business Employed By
  • Date commenced
  • Length of employment to date
  • What you are employed as
  • That you are not on probation
  • Yearly salary/wage
2. If current Employment is less then 12 months, then details of previous employer is required.
 
3. Wages, proof of savings and financial back ground.    
  1. 2-3 years of ATO Notice of Assessment (current 3 years)
2. A minimum of 6 months credit card statements for each card
3. latest 3 payslips with the latest no more the 30 days old
4. Pension details if any
5. 12 months plus of bank statements

Note: all statements must be up to date, the latest available and consecutive.
 
4. Residential Status    
  1. For New Australians the original Australian Citizen Certificate
2. For Non-Australians proof of residency status is required
3. Overseas statements and financials may be required for some non-Australians.
 
5. Current Status or situation    
  1. A current Council rates notice is a good idea
2. For those married the Marriage Certificate is required
3. If you are known by more then one name or your documentation has differences in the name used a Statutory Declaration is required.
 
6. Self Employed    
  If you are self employed and have your own business the 2 years financial statements, profit & loss and balance sheet, are required as well as 2-3 years tax returns and ATO Tax assessment notices.  
     
With all this information we can process and push the loan through after the application has been completed. Self Employed persons can opt for a Lo-Doc or Easy-Doc loan if required.
